We participate with most HMO's, PPO's, and commercial insurance plans. We also accept Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare. Other major insurance plans that we accept is Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna , and United Health. Please check with your insurance company to see if our physicians’ are on your particular plan. Please be aware of your insurance plan's rules regarding treatment and payment. Many plans require a co-payment by the patient, which will be your obligation to pay at the time of service. You are personally responsible for the payment of services provided to you unless you are covered by Medicaid or specific contract plans. Having insurance does not release you of this responsibility.
If you are seeing a specialist and a referral is required, your primary care physician will need to fax the referral to our office at 817-735-5441 (3rd Floor) or 817-735-2673 (4th Floor). If you have any questions about your referral please call us at 817-735-DOCS.
Patients with urgent medical problems are given priority in our appointment system. Appointments are scheduled several days to several weeks in advance. We will, to the fullest extent of our resources, accept emergency cases on the same day. Patients requiring hospitalization may be referred to Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth for evaluation. Patients not requiring hospitalization should be referred to the Internal Medicine Clinic for outpatient evaluation. In either case, please call in advance of the patient’s arrival.
