Tasleyma Sattar, DO
Tasleyma Sattar, DO, is the Medical Director and family medicine practitioner for Advanced Medical Clinic, located on the first floor of the Center for BioHealth, 3400 Camp Bowie, Suite 113.
Dr. Sattar received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Palmetto General Hospital Family Medicine Program in Hialeah, FL where she served as Chief Resident.
At the UNT Health Science Center, Dr. Sattar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.
Dr. Sattar is board certified in Family Medicine, practices travel medicine, and serves as the medical director for the Executive Wellness program for UNT Health.
Dr. Sattar employs a holistic approach to the practice of medicine, utilizing complementary and alternative approaches to health when appropriate. She practices within the full spectrum of family practice including: acute, chronic, and preventive medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, and traveling.
